5% DA from July 2019 Declared

More than one crore of employees and pensioners are waiting for the announcement of hike in DA from July 2019.

Today the Centre has decided to increase 5 percent Dearness allowance for Central Government employees and Pensioners with effect from 1st July 2019. The second installment of 5 percent additional Dearness allowance is increased for Central Government employees and Pensioners with effect from July 2019. After enhancement of 5% the DA is increased from 12% to 17%.

This increase is in accordance with the accepted formula, which is based on the recommendations of the 7th Central Pay Commission.

The hiked rate of Dearness Allowance (DA) to central government employees and Dearness Relief (DR) to pensioners will be applicable retrospectively from July this year

These are revised twice a year from January 1 and July 1.

DA Arrears

5% DA Arrears for three months from July to September 2019.

DA from January 2020

The 5% additional Dearness allowance for the period of 6 months from July to December 2019. After that the next episode of ‘DA from January 2020’ will start!

DA and DR from July to Dec 2015 – Cabinet Committee may approve tomorrow

As per media news, the Cabinet committee in its meeting tomorrow is likely to approve an additional Dearness Allowance for Central Government employees due from July 2015.

The second installment of this year, from July to December 2015, an additional DA is finalized hike by 6% as per the calculations recommended by 6th CPC. Now the Central Government employees and pensioners are getting 113% DA and DR, after the declaration by the Cabinet Committee on DA, it will become 119%.

CABINET APPROVES 8% HIKE IN DEARNESS ALLOWANCE FOR CENTRAL GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES AND PENSIONERS...

UNION CABINET ON THURSDAY APPROVED A PROPOSAL TO HIKE AN ANOTHER ADDITIONAL DEARNESS ALLOWANCE BY 8% FOR CENTRAL GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES AND PENSIONERS...
THE CENTRAL GOVERNMENT TODAY APPROVED TO RELEASE A EIGHT PER CENT HIKE IN DEARNESS ALLOWANCE TO CENTRAL GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES AND PENSIONERS, THIS HIKE IS TO BE EFFECTIVE RETROSPECTIVELY FROM JANUARY 2013...

THE DEARNESS ALLOWANCE AND DEARNESS RELIEF FOR CENTRAL GOVERNMENT SERVING EMPLOYEES AND PENSIONERS WILL INCREASE FROM 72% PER CENT OF BASIC EMOLUMENTS TO 80% PER CENT WITH EFFECT FROM 1.1.2013 TO COMPENSATE FOR PRICE RISE.

Cabinet Committee likely to approve DA today
As per reliable sources that the Union Cabinet Committee likely to approve the Finance Ministry proposal to hike the Dearness allowance and Dearness relief by 8% today.

An another additional Dearness allowance from Jan 2013 to all Central Government Employees and Pensioners is expected to declare by the Central Government on 2.4.2013, after the Union Cabinet approval. The agenda is expected to be approved by the committee today in the afternoon. Nearly 50 lakh employees and 30 lakh pensioners will get the benefit by this hike with minimum of Rs.560 per month. 
After the Cabinet approval, Finance Ministry may issue necessary orders immediately to all Departments/Ministries to issue enhanced payment by cash.
